For our deep-sea fishing, we practice continual trolling, which means that the boat is constantly moving, pulling a spread of lines behind the boat. We use a combination or artificial lures, fresh ballyhoo, and teasers. Our equipment is all Penn International and Shimano rods and reels, tournament rigged and between 20 and 80-pound test.
It is important to note that here in St. Lucia our drop-offs are close to shore, so we do not need to spend hours travelling far to get into good fishing. We can be in world-class fishing just ½ a mile offshore.
We also operate bottom fishing/jigging charters, where we go after smaller ‘bottom-dwelling’ fish such as snapper and Cavalli. These trips can be great fun if you are not set on going after big game fish such as Blue Marlin. Try your hand at Cavalli, snapper, mackerel, barracuda and other bottom feeders as we drop anchor at our best secret fishing spots, hang out our lines, relax and have a good time.

Our rods are heavy and expensive, and you wouldn’t want to be holding one for 4 hours. Also, when we go out there for deep sea fishing, we are looking for BIG fish. There are some monsters out there that could pull a rod out of even an experienced angler’s hands with ease. They might even take you with it!
The rods are set in rod holders. When we get a strike on a line, the crew will attempt to ‘set’ the hook, then will pass the rod to whoever is in the fighting chair at the time. At this point, you will get the chance to fight that fish!
If you prefer we also operate bottom fishing/jigging tours, where you get to hold your own rod or hand line and jig for smaller fish such as snapper, Cavalli and mackerel. If you would prefer this type of tour we would be happy to accommodate you.

Yes, we believe in conserving the ocean for future anglers. We practice Catch and Release for all billfish. We will bring in certain other ‘table fish’ at the discretion of the Captain.
-
All fish caught is the property of the boat and will be distributed at the discretion of the Captain… but don’t worry… we aren’t greedy!
If the guest would like a portion of the fish caught just ask and the crew will be happy to fillet and bag it for them.
The remainder of the fish caught is sent to Cornerstone House, a local homeless shelter that has a feeding program that feeds over 100 homeless and mentally ill persons every day.
Please note that some resorts and most cruise ships will not allow raw fish or meat to be brought in for health and safety purposes. If in doubt… ask us!

Yes of course anybody is welcome to come along. However as space is limited all guests are required to pay the full rate, whether or not they choose to actively participate in fishing.

We are a family business and we love kids! Our whale watching tours are perfect for families. Younger kids sometimes find the group fishing tours a bit too much and we have a minimum age on these of 8 years old. However all ages are welcome on private trips… bring the whole family!
